YFC Morden's Summer Youth Worker position will consist of assisting various YFC programs, building relationships with youth and demonstrating the love and care of Jesus to them, and mentoring them from a Biblical and Christian perspective. Primary program activities include training teens how to develop skills to enter the workforce, providing supervision to summer activity outings, and assisting as necessary year-round staff in successfully running YFC Morden Programs. YFC Morden exists to see every young person living fully in Christ.

We are looking for individuals who genuinely want to teach and care for youth, who love and follow Jesus and who have a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to learn. Employees must be 18 years of age at the time of employment due the supervision of young workers offsite (https://www.gov.mb.ca/labour/standards/doc,young-workers,factsheet.html). They must also qualify for all criteria of Canada Summer Job Grant Employees.
